Trust in Small Business

A Call to Action

4/5/2010

A CALL TO ACTION:

    With the health care take-over now the law of the land, the clock is ticking towards November.   It is our chance to send a message loud and clear to Congress.  Unless we change Congress, small businesses will remain in the cross hairs of a federal government bent on:

·        Redistribution of wealth rather than growing the economy;

·        Higher tax rates across the board;

·        New taxes like a VAT (value added tax);

·        Expanded unionization with card check;

·        Higher deficits;

·        Nationalization of more segments of our economy; and

·        More “stimulus” and bailouts.

You can fight back by supporting Trust in Small Business (TISB).  TISB is focused on only one thing: electing champions of small business to the U. S. House and Senate.

Founded by small business owners, TISB is run like a small business:

 ·        Effective – in 2008 70% of our dollars were spent in support of 11 candidates who won;

·        Efficient – approximately 75% of our expenditures are spent on media campaigns in support of candidates.  It is not uncommon for organizations similar to ours to spend 60% on overhead, leaving only 40% for candidate support; and

·        Focused – being nimble allows us to identify competitive contests late in the election cycle.  This allows us to launch our media campaign close to Election Day when it can have the most impact.

By supporting TISB you know that your hard-earned dollars will be well spent.  We have developed a solid and tested approach that has proven to be effective in both Senate and House races.

Please help by making your generous contribution today

Thank you!

Ed Pinto, TISB Chairman & CEO
