Martha Burr, Houston Texas
Martha is a member of the Board of Directors and member of the Candidate Selection & Support Committee.
She has long been active in various health care issues affecting women. As a Registered Nurse practicing in both a clinical and educational setting for over 30 years, she was able to guide medical personnel as well as the general public in the care of women during their childbearing years. She often serves as a consultant for health care policy affecting women as well as caring for women during pregnancy and childbirth. Martha travels internationally as a volunteer to provide health care to women in third world countries.
Along with her husband Richard, she owns Burr Engineers, an engineering firm that provides consulting services for air conditioning, heating, lighting, power, plumbing, and air quality building systems.
